The Teens follows a structured, six-module curriculum — each module builds directly on the last.
Reading Assessment & Gap Analysis
An honest evaluation of where the student is — letter accuracy, reading speed, tajweed habits — so the teacher builds a plan around real gaps, not assumptions.
Core Tajweed Rules
The rules most teens have learned incorrectly or inconsistently — noon and meem rules, madd lengths, qalqalah — corrected systematically with immediate recitation practice.
Fluency & Recitation Confidence
From hesitant to confident — students practice reading passages aloud until they can recite without stopping to think about individual letters or words.
Islamic Identity & Quran Connection
Contextual conversations about what they're reading — meaning, stories, and relevance to a teen's everyday life and identity. The Quran becomes personal, not just a school subject.
Independent Recitation Practice
Students develop the ability to read and recite on their own — outside of sessions — with teacher-assigned practice, reflection, and parent check-ins.

What if my teen hasn't studied Quran in years?
That's completely fine — and very common. We assess each student before placing them, and there's no pressure to perform. We start exactly where your teen is, no judgment.
How flexible is the schedule around school and activities?
Very. Sessions are typically 45 minutes, 2x per week, and we schedule them around your teen's school, sports, and other commitments.
Will the teacher treat my teen with respect?
Absolutely. Our teachers understand that teens respond to respect, not pressure. Sessions are structured but never demeaning — teens are treated as capable, serious students.
Is this separate from weekend Islamic school?
Yes. Our one-on-one sessions are designed to complement — not replace — any existing Islamic education. Many of our teen students also attend weekend programs.
What level does my teen need to be at to start?
Any level — complete beginner to advanced. We assess at enrollment and build a plan specific to where your teen is today.
