What parents say about the trial

Families who were exactly where you are — one free class changed everything.

I wasn't sure what to expect from an online trial class. The teacher was so patient and kind with my daughter. We enrolled the same week.
Fatima A.Mother of 2, Texas
We'd tried two other academies before. The Riwaq trial was the first time my son actually paid attention the whole class. The teacher knew exactly how to engage him.
Ahmed K.Father, New Jersey
As a convert, I was nervous to reach out. The team made everything so easy — no judgment, just genuine help getting started.

Common questions before you book

Most families have at least one of these. Here’s our honest answer to each.

I don’t know which program to choose

You don’t need to. The trial class is specifically designed to assess your child’s level and tell you exactly which program fits. Select “Not sure yet” in the form and we’ll guide you from there.

My child has never studied Quran before

Perfect — that’s who the trial is designed for. Every teacher at Riwaq al‑Ilm is trained to work with complete beginners, starting from the very first letter.

I’m worried about online learning quality

Every session is live, one-on-one, with the same teacher. No pre-recorded videos, no crowded classes. Many families had the same concern — one trial class changed their mind.

What if the timing doesn’t work for us?

We have teachers available across all US time zones — early mornings, evenings, and weekends. We work around your family’s schedule, not the other way around.

The trial session is 30 minutes — long enough for your teacher to make a proper assessment and for your child to experience a real class.
Who will my child's teacher be?+
We match teachers based on your child's age, level, and program. All teachers are Al-Azhar certified. You can request a female teacher in the form.
Can adults book a trial too?+

How quickly will you get back to me?+

Nothing. Your child just needs a quiet space and a device with a camera and microphone. No books, no prior study, no preparation needed.
What happens if my child doesn't like the teacher?+
We'll match you with someone else. Teacher compatibility matters to us — if the fit isn't right, we'll find someone better suited.
What if we decide not to enroll after the trial?+
No problem at all. There's no follow-up pressure and no obligation. We'd rather you leave with a good impression than feel pushed into something you're not ready for.
