What you will learn
The Juz 'Amma follows a structured, six-module curriculum — each module builds directly on the last.
Reading Fluency & Tajweed Check
Before memorizing, students must read correctly. The teacher assesses current reading ability and corrects any Tajweed issues in the target Surahs — memorizing incorrect recitation is worse than not memorizing at all.
Short Surah Memorization Foundations
Beginning with the shortest Surahs — An-Nas, Al-Falaq, Al-Ikhlas — using proven repetition and self-testing techniques. Students build memorization method and confidence together.
Core Juz 'Amma Surahs
Working systematically through Juz 'Amma — An-Naba through Al-Ghashiyah — progressing from shorter to longer Surahs with daily new-portion targets and structured revision.
Structured Revision Cycles
As new Surahs are memorized, previously memorized ones are reviewed on a rotation — so early memorization stays sharp even as the student advances through later Surahs.
Prayer-Ready Recitation
Reciting memorized Surahs the way they will be used in Salah — standing, with correct pacing, Waqf (pausing), and the calm confidence of someone who truly knows what they're reciting.
Completion & Advancement Planning
Celebrating the completion of Juz 'Amma — and planning what comes next, whether that's the Hifz al-Qur'an Department, additional Juz memorization, or maintaining what's been memorized.

Questions about the Juz 'Amma program
Why start with Juz 'Amma specifically?
Juz 'Amma contains the short Surahs most recited in daily prayers. Memorizing it gives students immediate, practical benefit — every Salah becomes richer. It's also the traditional starting point for Hifz.
How long does it take to memorize all of Juz 'Amma?
With 2–3 sessions per week, most students complete Juz 'Amma in 6–18 months depending on their age and consistency. We set personal milestones at enrollment.
Is this suitable for children?
Yes — it's ideal for children. Many parents start their children on Juz 'Amma before moving to full Hifz. Short Surahs are achievable and rewarding, building confidence and momentum.
What if I already know some Surahs?
Great — we assess which Surahs you already know, verify their Tajweed, and pick up from where you are. No need to re-memorize what you already have solid.
Can I continue to full Hifz after completing Juz 'Amma?
Absolutely. Juz 'Amma is the natural foundation for full Hifz. Students who complete it with us have a clear pathway into the Hifz al-Qur'an Department when they're ready.
