What Makes Us Different

Arabic Rooted in the Quran

Our approach to Arabic begins with the Quran — the most eloquent Arabic text ever written. Students who learn Arabic this way understand their recitation at a deeper level from the start.

Native-Level, Al-Azhar Teachers

All our teachers are native Arabic speakers with Al-Azhar degrees. They teach Classical Arabic — the language of the Quran — not just conversational Modern Standard Arabic.

Tailored to Your Goals

Whether you want to understand your Salah, read the Quran with comprehension, or build toward deeper Islamic study, your teacher designs the curriculum around your actual goals.

What You’ll Learn

What to Expect

1

Quranic Vocabulary

The 300 most frequently occurring words in the Quran cover over 70% of the text. We build this vocabulary systematically so students begin understanding what they recite.

2

Basic Arabic Grammar (Nahw)

Understanding how Arabic sentences work unlocks the Quran in ways that vocabulary alone cannot. We introduce grammar gradually through real Quranic examples.

3

Reading with Comprehension

Students progress from decoding Arabic script to understanding its meaning — reading the same ayahs they've always recited with entirely new depth.

4

Islamic Terminology

Key terms in Fiqh, Hadith, and Islamic history are rooted in Arabic. Building this vocabulary opens the door to deeper knowledge across the deen.

Common Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of Arabic do you teach?

We focus primarily on Classical/Quranic Arabic — the Arabic of the Quran and Hadith — rather than colloquial dialects. This is the most valuable Arabic for Muslims who want to understand Islamic texts and their recitation.

Do I need to be able to read Arabic first?

Not necessarily. If you can't read Arabic script yet, we begin there. If you can already read (even slowly), we build directly on that foundation into vocabulary and comprehension.

How does Arabic relate to the Quran programs?

Arabic vocabulary and basic grammar are woven into all our Quran reading programs. If you want a dedicated Arabic curriculum alongside or separate from Quran reading, contact us to discuss a custom learning plan.

How long does it take to understand basic Quranic Arabic?

With dedicated sessions alongside Quran reading, most students begin recognizing common Quranic words within 3–6 months. Basic sentence-level comprehension typically develops within 1–2 years of consistent study.

Can children learn Arabic alongside Quran classes?

Yes. Early Arabic exposure gives children a significant long-term advantage in Quran understanding and Islamic education. We integrate age-appropriate Arabic into children's programs.

I want to understand my Salah — can you help with that?

Absolutely. Understanding the words of Salah — Surah al-Fatiha, common adhkar, and du'a — is one of the most common goals our students bring. This is achievable in a relatively short focused period of study.
